Claridon Township has experienced growth, yet at a rural rate. We average about 14 new homes per year. Our new homes must rest on at least three acres of land. The average new home is about 2400 square ft and is valued around $255,000. In 2004 18 existing homes sold within our township and the average sale price of existing homes was around $214,000.00.
As per the 2000 census, we currently have 1,136 families with a total of 3,173 people residing in our community.
